About NitaJean Fundraising
Hello! Greg here, or… NitaJean Fundraising — a fundraising professional with over 12 years of experience helping nonprofits build stronger revenue through grants, individual giving, and consistent, systemic donor stewardship. I’ve spent my career in the day-to-day work that actually moves fundraising forward: building donor relationships, creating simple systems teams can maintain, and translating mission impact into clear, fundable language.
NitaJean Fundraising is the consulting practice I built to bring that same practical support to organizations that need experienced fundraising capacity—without the cost of a full-time hire.
Why I do this
I’ve seen how often good organizations get stuck in the same cycle: the work is urgent, the team is stretched, and fundraising becomes a constant scramble. My goal is to bring structure, momentum, and confidence to your development efforts—so fundraising feels less like chaos and more like a repeatable process.
How I work
My style is straightforward: clear priorities, clean deliverables, and consistent follow-through.
You can expect:
A plan that reflects your real capacity (not a fantasy calendar).
Messaging that sounds like you—clear, human, and mission-forward.
Systems that are simple enough to sustain, even with a lean team.
A focus on ethical fundraising and relationship-based growth.
What I support
Depending on what your organization needs, my work typically includes:
Grant strategy and writing (prospecting, LOIs, proposals, reporting).
Major donor and individual giving support (pipeline, outreach strategy, stewardship).
Recurring giving strategy (retention, upgrades, messaging).
Planned giving readiness and donor engagement (insight into planned giving, prospecting, messaging frameworks).
Board fundraising clarity (roles, scripts, accountability rhythms).
Campaign planning (appeals, messaging frameworks, calendars).
Who I’m a fit for
I work best with mission-driven, midscale nonprofits that want fundraising support that’s both strategic and hands-on—especially organizations that:
have a strong program but need a stronger funding engine.
want to improve grants or major giving without reinventing everything.
need a dependable partner to execute and keep things moving.
Why “NitaJean”
This practice is named after my Grandmother Nita and Aunt Jean—two people who represent what I value most: care, compassion, and doing work you love with integrity. That’s the standard I bring to every engagement.
